How to Remove scratches from Prescription Glasses?
First, remove scratches using a toothpaste. Yes, you read that right! Toothpastes are not only used to remove the dental plaque and halitosis but also used to remove scratches from glasses. All you have to do is apply a small amount of toothpaste on a cotton ball and massage it into the scratched lenses. Do it for 10-15 seconds then rinse. Just a little note: Do not use a non-abrasive nor non-whitening nor non-gel because if you do you’ll make the scratches even worse!
Second, use baking soda. You just have to simply create a paste of baking soda and water in a small bowl, massage the product into the scratched lenses and rinse it with water. That’s it!
Third, plain soap and water. If you do not have a toothpaste or baking soda around, use a soap and water instead. All you need is a microfiber cloth to help you remove all the scratches from the lenses.
There you go! These are the simple yet important ways on how to clean and remove the scratches on your glasses. But apart from all of these, always take good care of it even before it gets a one long scratch! Be careful on where you place it! :)
